This is downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We start off on the Cambie Street Bridge and travel up Smithe Street. We head down Nelson Street at 2:50. At 10:20, we are on Beach Avenue where there is... a beach. 12:00 is where a lot of people reside in downtown Vancouver -- the rent around here tends to be "cheaper" since the buildings are older... but it's still expensive for what you get. 16:24 is the famous Robson Street (lots of shops and restaurants). Hornby Street -- 19:25 -- is where the art gallery is (on the right). 22:05 is Hastings Street -- West Hastings is the business district while the East is infamous for its drug users. 24:35 is the Gastown area -- tourists seem to enjoy this area. At 28:12 that big building on the right is the downtown library -- ...
We are driving into the city of North Vancouver from Marine Drive. This area has a bit of shopping and the traffic is usually pretty crappy on this road. The music was created sometime in the summer of 2017. Mark Quigley - Korg Volca Keys Analog Synthesizer Micheal Quigley - Piano http://www.markquigley.com/free-jazz-vancouver.html
Do you need to get to downtown Vancouver from the airport? Then please watch. We start off from the airport and pass through the international departures drop off area. You'll notice once we get going that some flowers are popping out of trees. This video was filmed in early March... As you get on the bridge that takes you to Granville street it's very important to get in the right lane (3:46). There's a small commercial area at the bottom of the Granville street and after that it's residential areas. These houses are some of the most expensive in Vancouver. Enjoy the mountains and the fairly simple route (basically you have to go straight) until we reach the Granville street bridge which takes us into downtown (11:28). The music was performed by Free Jazz Vancouver. We like to create...
http://www.markquigley.com This is part 2 of our North Vancouver series. We start from the 2nd Narrow's bridge which takes us to Dollarton Highway (speed limit is 50 km per hour) 0:18. We pass by a couple of parks and a conservation area. At 8:16, we reach Deep Cove, a nice and close place to escape the big city chaos of Vancouver. We head back on our route and take a right at Mount Seymour Parkway 11:02. There aren't too many sightseeing spots here but we are sure that you will enjoy the beautiful nature and trees that North Vancouver, British Columbia offers. The music was performed by Free Jazz Vancouver, a group that likes to improvise. Mark Quigley - trombone & korg volca keys Chipmunk Page - flute Mark Kwan - guitar C Walter Lovell - drums

Read the full neighbourhood profile of Commercial Drive, Vancouver on ypnexthome.ca: http://bit.ly/1S3ataO Did you know? Commercial Drive was originally a skid road used to haul logs to the harbour. As its name suggests, the area began as a commercial hub for trades and retail. While it's certainly evolved over the years, the area stays true to its shopping, dining and entertainment roots. TV Host Todd Talbot takes us on a tour of Commercial Drive.
This is a small sample of life in downtown Vancouver British Columbia Canada. The music was created to sound calm. Mark Quigley - electric trombone & Korg Volca Keys Analog Synthesizer Michael Quigley - piano http://www.markquigley.com/free-jazz-vancouver.html
I really need a DSLR mount. The drive from between Calgary and Vancouver is really scenic. It's been such a blast chilling with the people I've recently met in Vancity. But now I'm back in the home studio, and I have to bust out editing all of the footage I gathered while I was away. http://www.freejazzvancouver.com Yeah, I know... the camera is shaky but at least this video gives you an idea of what life is like in east Vancouver (two people told me off while making this video). Commerical Drive is a neat part of Vancouver where you have lots of shops and restaurants. It's considered to be the "Italian" area but that seems to have chanced over the years. If you walk down this street you'll eventually end up in "Yeast" Vancouver. Enjoy. The music was created by Free Jazz Vancouver, a group that likes to make spontaneous improvised music. M Quigley - trombone and korg volca keys C Walter Lovell - drums
DRIVE NORTH ON GRANVILLE
Commercial Drive is home to an exciting mix of independent cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. After all, "The Drive" is arguably the most diverse and colourful neighbourhood in Vancouver. It's also ground zero for many of Vancouver's largest festivals, including Illuminares, the Dyke March, Italian Day, the Vancouver Poetry Festival, the Parade of Lost Souls, East Side Pride and Car-Free Day. The main drag runs between Venables Street and East 12th Avenue. You can travel here by using the SkyTrain to get to the Commercial Drive or Broadway stations, or by catching bus number 20. Since Commercial Drive is outside the main tourist areas of the city, it's a great place to meet and hang out with locals—so make sure you take some time to walk around the neighbourhood and explore by foot. We are taking a drive in Burnaby's south area. Make sure your car's brakes are working before going down these hills. The music is modern but shouldn't disturb you too much. MKwigley - electric trombone & Korg Volca Keys Analog Synthesizer MKwigley - piano http://www.freejazzvancouver.com
Hop on the roof of our car and see the Pacific Northwest country in this time lapse from Seattle, Washington to Vancouver, British Columbia. This was my first time to go to Canada and I wanted my family to see what our drive looked like. Enjoy Aloha http://aaroneskaran.com/ Shot with a GoPro HD Hero 2 suction cupped to the roof of the car. Song by my band Upstanding Youth | Headlights

http://www.markquigley.com West Vancouver may be the hardest place to get to in the lower mainland during rush hour traffic. Why? Because of the intersection at 0:36. Can this be fixed? No... Luckily this video wasn't filmed during rush hour and it's basically a long cruise through Vancouver's "fairly wealthy" suburb. The music was created by Free Jazz Vancouver. We like to make weird background music. Do you have a place to play? Mark Quigley - trombone and korg volca keys C Walter Lovell - drums
July 8 to 28 2015 I did a great drive around Western USA and Canada. I drove a total of 5,523 miles / 8,888km. I filmed all my drives as time-lapse videos, 15 times normal speed.
